For those wondering if Drosophyllum can survive light frosts, here ya go:

Low overnight temperature was 28 degrees.

And about an hour after above shots were taken and temps had warmed into the high 30s.

That's just spectacular to look at!
 
That is awesome. If a bug is caught in the tentacles, and the plant freezes, but then thaws- does the plant just resume digestion?
 
Whoa!! That's just crazy! Clearly a tough-as-nails plant.
 
Thats the most amazing thing I've seen for quite some time.
It looks like a koosh ball of pipe cleaners haha

Very cool! (no pun intended ;p) How long did it take for the plant to recover it's dew after thawing, or has it been able to yet?

It recovered quickly after the sun hit it full on. It is interesting how they wilt like that and then spring back up alive and well so quickly after they warm up a bit. Even the little one in the bog is still looking good. These plants never cease to amaze me.
