I can never get my aliciae to finish a flower stalk... always aborts right in the middle.... pretty pink flowers though..

Excellent, something rare indeed. Drosera flowers are difficult to get photos of. You have to be in the right place at the right time.

thought i would show off my slackii (yet again)pretty cool to see three flowers open on one plant not the best pics but it was windy,and i noticed a third flower stalk

nice NAN ,my venusta suffered bad after flowering and is coming back after a few months,here are a couple of capensis all red flower pics,if you see the cotton it marks the flowers i have attempted to pollinate with slackii and the reverse has also been attempted

Decided to add a couple crappy pics of my own to the list:

These, along with about 6 other varieties, are being crossed for hybrids I've never seen anywhere else.

Some close-ups on the styles of the D. dielsiana would be appreciated. It appears most of the plants labeled D. dielsiana in cultivation do not match Obermeyer's description - differing in flower parts and appearance of the seed. One of the D. sp in cultivation seems to match the species type descriptions however. Best guess is the imposters are perhaps a form of D. natalensis.

i did a bit of reading on this too NAN on a cpuk thread,natalensis was the conclusion and they thought the only way to tell is as you have pointed out seed shape,as i bought some supposed dielsiana seed and did a bit of research,turns out a waste of time as they didn't even germinate
