you need to do it with a link iirc
Edit: you can also post an image url which will make the photo show up directly in the thread too

upload them onto tinypic, or other photo hosting site then put them on here

Click the "insert image" icon above the typing box and put the "http://..." URL where your image is posted on the web.

it just shows up as nothing when I have the picture link with

This should help you Eric. Copy paste that bit, click the "more ways to share" button in the new layout at the bottom.

You need the link with .jpg at the end. If you only want the image to show up, all you need is this bit below, without the " in it. I just delete the rest out.
