Drosera spatulata

Are there any unusual or giants in this species I very interest in giant or unusual Drosera

Depends on what you call "unusual." D. spatulata var. gympiensis has short, hairy flower stalks, var. bakoensis is small, has rather rounded leaf lamina and is found in Borneo, 'Tamlin' can occasionally reach almost 4" across, and there's plenty of other spatulata variants.

As hcarlton has mentioned, Drosera spatulata is one of the most widely variable species in the genus, even more variable than Drosera capillaris, though it does have a much wider range than the latter. At one time, Drosera aliciae was considered to have its origins with Drosera spatulata, being thought a polyploid derivation (in effect, an octoploid Drosera spatulata). Perhaps genetic analysis can confirm or refute this hypothesis, maybe it already has.

D. aliciae can hybridize with spatulata, but it's far more closely allied to the natalensis/venusta group.

There may be a branch of D. spatulata (?) that appears to be closely related to D. aliciaea although published genetic sequences are lacking.
