Hi all,
the last month, I sowed Drosera Occidentalis var. Microscapa gems.
Now are born about ten plants.
I know that this plant is smaller drosera of the world....
my question is..... realy what is its maximun diameter?
All I know is that it's really small and the gemmae are a pain to move. I in fact did not even notice when they made some last year, now there's a big pile of tiny leaves trying to grab itty bitty bugs !!
Hmmm... ask vft guy in SJ how long it took me to get the few pics of my visit to his place on the net... Maybe this spring when they're all lookin' good.
The various species of pygmy sundews vary, from like 3/16" (D. microscopa) to D. scorpioides (1") in diameter (approximately). Most of plants I have are about 5/8" in diameter. That's pretty much it!
