Drosera capensis leaf cuttings are unkillable

I had tried to do some leaf cuttings on my drosera capensis and i had not cleaned them, i had forgot about them and left them in the sun for about 1 month, then on the hottest day the container got to about 110 Fahrenheit i then decided to put them in my makeshift greenhouse they got about 4 hours of filtered/full sunlight for half a month but they still decided to grow!!!! WTF

Yeah, just like the plants they came off of the leaf cuttings are pretty tough. Looks like you'll have a lot of capensis soon.

But the thing is that my actual plant is more susceptible to change than the cuttings are, i dont understand, is it just that the leaves naturally harden in strength, to prepare for propagation?
