my P.sethos leaves are getting thinner and dryer is this normal for dormancy?

Hard to tell with the photo but looks like its lost its drool edges so it's on it's way. It also looks like it could use a lot more light.
 
the top layer is but the rest is some kind of ping mix i got from the internet
 
Looks like it's going dormant. I'd get the LFS out from under it before it does. Most dormant pings like it a bit drier and it might act like a sponge.

The dormant leaves are also great for leaf pullings.

this ping have not long root , these root are in the substrate like the picture to "31drew31" or just in spagnum ?
