did i kill my drosera aliciae? HELP!!

I notice this on my Drosera venusta sometimes. It seems like the plants stops growing for a period (maybe due to sub-optimal conditions) and then grow back. I'm not sure what causes it either. I've also had Drosera shipped to me where the growing point in the middle just withers and then the whole plant dies. Maybe it was from shipping shock?
hmmmm, well i've had it for 3 weeks now. maybe it is still acclimating? we recently had some high days in the 90's.
