Wow..yeah, it is a bad week!

I once saw Dennis Hopper give a talk about Easy Rider!
it was at the George Eastman House back in 1999..for the 30th anniversary of the movie..

I had never seen the movie before..and I really wanted to see it because it was made in (and set in) 1969,
and I was born in 1969!
and I was very interested to see this classic movie about the state of America, and the culture of America, during the year of my birth..

they played the movie first, the Dennis Hopper came out and gave a talk about it!
it was very cool..

He was an interesting man. He was responsible for one of the worst if not the absolute worst movie I ever saw - The Last Movie - but I admire him for making something so unconventional. Anyone who likes him or likes off-kilter movies in general should seek it out.
