This plantlet has been growing in this bottle for about 5 months.

And to think that people worry about drowning their plants while drowning their aphids! Hey, maybe that's the way for Singaporeans can grow capensis?
 
Yup. Etiolated. My student keep it in a shaded area and changed the water once or twice a week, I think. Just tap water. But we can drink straight from the tap, you see.

The plant's been potted and is out of my hands now. I will find out how it will grow out of water.
 
I hope there was a transitional period between water and pot. What I have done with water-sprouted plants is to fill their pot so that it is waterlogged and then just let the pot evaporate. Worked well for my VFT's D. binata, D. filiformis, and Sarracenia seedlings.
