if you are careful widows will never bite you.
They are one of the shiest and least aggressive spiders.

You say that now.. but wait until you open your mailbox and find a hatched out eggsac. PO'ed females are not pleasant. Trust me..

Oh lol.
I once read a story in which someone had a black widow in their room and were entirely unaware until the spider's egg sac hatched. They had a very large fan in their room and the young spiderlings mistook it for wind and began balooning all over the room.
The person in question had small black widows raining down on them.
Luckily this did not bother them so much as they happened to be an arachnid hobbyist.

i havent seen any more widows or snakes since the weather got really cold. This greenhouse is crappy and I can't keep it sealed, so even though I'm running a heater in there, it is cold. My cat has been hangiing out in there to keep warm so she might be helping with the population as well
