Confused

OK, so my N.hirusta x veitchii is flowering, and the flower looks more like the bottom pic because it is rather long and thick, but it doesn't bulge at the bottom; it bulges near the round ball. I'm confused. Does this sound like a female or male nep?

Maybe the bulge hasn't finished swollen. Check this site out Male or Female? If it's a female, then you are lucky. Most neps are males

Sounds female to me. Picture would clear it up for sure. I have a nice male dark red tobaica in bloom right now if you need pollen.

Well if the ball at the end is round and yellow then it's male. If its is sorta flat and green then it's female.
