Cephalotus "Hummer's" divisions for other Ceph cultivars/genetic stock (or Heli's?)
Hi guys,
I have a few Cephalotus crown divisions up for trade, one of which has a flower stalk. I bought the mother plant maybe 5-6 years ago as a Hummer's Giant crown division from an eBay seller in Alaska. I almost lost it due to crown rot or fungus 3 years ago but it bounced back with vengeance and is flowering for the second year in a row. I'm aware of the current controversy surrounding the validity of Ceph cultivars vs. environment, but what the hell... for cross pollination sake (*info on which I'll need the group's help with later!), I'd still like to pick up some similarly well started divisions other known cultivars like Czech Giant, Big Boy, Eden Black, etc. (or any particularly nice unregistered Cephs!)
I also might be interested in trading for some of the prettier Heliamphora species.
Following find pics of the mother plant, pics of the divisions from a month or so after first potted, and current pics.
Thanks for your interest!
