Ceph - two months after repotting

How do people get their Cephs into a "mound" like that? Most pics I see of folks' Cephs, they're all mounded. Or, is that the natural shape of the crowning on the plant?

Depends on the plant you have--most have a tendency to grow vertical.

It also depends on the pot you have--larger pots promote more horizontal growth, sometimes by underground "runners." Smaller pots tend to promote more vertical growth.

At least that's what I've noticed with mine....

I thought I should take photos of the pitchers in natural light. ;)

No kidding around this time.... very beautiful colration.

About mounding.... that has been recommended as a way of preventing the plant from receiving excess water, especially the crown, which could lead to death. It keeps them "high and dry."
