Ceph seedling - why is it so red?

Not that I am complaining but it seems harder to get TC Cephs or cuttings to turn red. Is it because the pitchers are smaller and therefore easier to colour up? ???

Like you said, it may be because the plant is so small. I had a very young Ceph a while back that would only produce red pitchers, and then when it started to mature, it put out large green pitchers.

Then again, I have currently have a young Ceph that only produces green pitchers. Could just be a genetic thing.
