I have a cape sundew in flower and there are two flower spikes on the same plant. The second spike is about 1in tall. Do I need to cut the small one off or let it flower?
I'd just let them flower. If you can, assuming that the flowers have not dried yet, try and put something under the flower pods to catch any stray seeds. Either that or just wait and try not to disturb the flower/seed pods at all untill you want to collect them. Otherwise you will have a plethora of capensis in places you don't want them or loose a good amount of viable seed.
