Capensis dormancy-What!?

Does D. Capensis need a dormancy in winter? If so what temps do they like? Its so stupid I haven't been able to find the answer to this but I was so convinced that they were tropical!

They are sub-tropicals and do not require dormancy. Winter temps should probably get no lower than the mid 40s F (average min winter temps for Cape Town). If exposed to too cold temps capensis will die down to the roots but usually grow back.

Great that works out perfectly, winter would be so dull without a christmas-capensis.
