Not technically MY photos, but taken by a friend with my camera at my first anniversary/renewing of vows, Performed by my husbands friend who cracks me up. He performed our wedding too, in the voice of the Old Spice Guy. It was hilarious. Anyhow, I really like these two photos...
And we all went whale watching the next day, an anniversary gift from the husand.
And again not really my pic, just my camera. My aunt and I at the end of the long, cold, wet and windy whale watching trip(So I look like hell, and pardon my weird facial expression, it was super windy. lol)

Horses...
Nathan, who sadly was put down recently due to the discovery of a horrible degenerativem old knee injury/issue. He was a rescue, and had a good couple of years with my mother before it got bad enough that the vet suggested that he be put to sleep. Apparently both front knees joints were trying to fuse, or something along those lines, so he was chronically lame and couldn't be ridden.
What he looked like shortly after my mom rescued him, and amazingly this is MUCH cleaner then when he arrived. He was also a couple hundred lbs underweight.
And the next summer, shortly before he passed on.
And Lurch, another of her rescues. He's an off the track thoroughbred that was up for auction, and she outbid the slaughterhouse buyer by $50 bucks and got him. So a $300 horse, quickly turned into a $5k horse once he turned out to have a broken bone in his ankle, with a floating bone chip that required surgery and a cast.
The year she brought him home. He was super dark, and funny how she thought he wouldn't grow much more. LOL. He's almost 17 hands now.
And more recently

Well these photos kind of span the past 10 years or so... lol I've always used the Canon Rebel line exclusively and I've had just about every single model. lol. Right now i'm on the Canon T1i, and hopefully wll be getting the T3i soon.

Which one? Lurch is a dapple gray thoroughbred and Nathan was a paint.
love the green tree and the blood pythons i have always wanted one, i used to have a ball but always wanted either a green tree or blood their amazing. Your reef tank is beautiful too

so sorry about the passing of your moms pony but that Tb she has looks amazing! they both have amazing coat changes, from the point of rescue to later on when good care is given they look very happy. Is the Tb able to be ridden at all after the recovery from surgery?
