Bog trip / Nursery Visit - Sept. 15-17th

Time to go play in another bog.

I plan on visiting Cranesville Swamp in Garrett County Maryland on Sept 15-17th.

I'm going to try to get a campsite in Swallow Falls State Park. Looks like it may be a first come first serve for those dates.

Then leaving early on Sunday the 17th to head to Michael Szesze's nursery; Carnivorous Plant Nursery. I visited him 2 years ago and he has a very nice greenhouse.

It will be a bit of driving, looks like it will be about 3 1/2 hr from Cranesville Swamp to Michael's nursery.

Any one else up for a trip?

Argg I wish i had a little more notice, but thats cool.  I expect pictures please.

 I am off the 15th, 16th but work on the 17 and work on the 14th night and will be getting off the morning of the 15th.  I would suspect its about a 10 hour drive for me from where I am at.  It is 6 and a half from here to 40 miles into VA on 95. My parent live off exit 41 on 95 in VA. I just took a spure of the moment trip last week.

 Thanks for the offer but I have to pass this time.  I will definately have a better chance of going once I get off these stinkin night!  I hope you have fun and PLease please please post pictures.

I did not think that camp sites would be a problem. Checked several parks and ended up further east then I was thinking.

I ended up getting a site at Rocky Gap State Park.
I am at the Fir Loop - Loop F, at site # 146. The following sites are still available 144, 147, 149. May be more, but I just asked to get a site that had a few unoccupied sites beside each other incase others wanted to go.
