Blooming P. primuliflora

Is it normal for P. primuliflora to be blooming this time of year? Mine has one flower and another on the way.

Mine bloom off and on all the time. More on than off.

Is there something that induces it, like slow increase of photoperiod from winter?

I don't know but mine did that in the middle of summer.

Does primuliflora NEED a dormancy? i would like to get one just because its so easy(unlike mexican pings[for me]) and gets fairly big.

No, I don't think it needs a dormancy, maybe shorter photoperiod though. Is 3 inches fairly large?

for me yes. i mean my D. capensis is only about 4 in across and i think it is big.
