Big Island trip to see the Volcano and Sam (pics warning!)

Well, here's unlabeled shots cuz I've caught some cold and am really tired...first a view of Mauna Kea from my hotel where you can kinda see the instruments, and then LOTS of nep pics and dried lava pics!

The lava is really cool And as for Sam's...I was not ready for so much GORGEOUSMAZING. It broke my brain. But thank you so much for sharing!

I know... I'm still kindof in shock as to how many gorgeous plants he has and how well the pics turned out despite the fact that it was overcast.

Eau Em Jee!

Never has there been such a spectacular ensemble of unnamed and unidentifiable Nepenthes mutts!

I can't even recognize half of those plants' parents for the life of me!

Really nice shots, it makes me very jealous! I want to go back to Hawaii now.
