beginning of a flower stalk?

does this look like the beginning of a flower stalk? if not, what is it? i'm asking because i've never had a nepenthes flower, so i don't know how they begin.

i have only had the cutting for a couple of months and it just recently (within the past couple of days) produced a small pitcher, as seen in the pictures.
