Ant Plants in formacariums

Will ant plants do well in the same enclosure as ants? Will their light and humidity requirements interfere with the ant's? I'd like insight for all types of ant plants, especially dischidia.

Does anyone just have information on ant plants? There is no info on them...

Did you even try to search yourself? A quick google brought up these three...

I don't know much about Dischidia/Lecanopteris.
I've had a few Hydnophytum and Myrmecodia here and I've had a couple rot already, even in a very open mix. They seem to like being quite dry - not a surprise as they're epiphytic. Not sure about humidity, they don't seem fussy either way. I imagine they would benefit from higher humidity but you would need to make sure they don't stay wet and there is sufficient airflow.

I'm not sure how controlled your ant enclosure would be but I would recommend getting used to growing them first to get a feel for their requirements.

As for the ants - it seems not just any ants will colonise the plant, it needs to be the species that natively lives inside it in the wild. Feel free to give it a go though!
