Animals from the NJ Pine Barrens

Here is a strange group of animals I found in the Pine Barrens:
Bob, Joe, Mark (Tong), and Suzanne.
It was very nice meeting up with all of you, and hope to do it again.

Some frogs.

A very shy Painted Turtle that took a dip before I could get close.

Little Fence Lizard.

Wasp nest.

And a nice Smooth or Rough Green Snake.

The frogs look to be green frogs(R. clamitans) and a Northern Leopard frogs(R. pipiens).

Wow...they came out really nice Steve! But that first pic...that's a pretty dangerous looking group of wild humans. I hope you had your human tongs with you in case they needed to be controlled.

No bad tempered swamp horse pic.

The one in the shorts had quick, shifty eyes. I had my Mace ready at all times.

It was a very cooperative frog. There was lots of grass in front of his face and I was inches away from it pulling out the grass to get a clear shot.

I only have one question. Did any of you see a bear?

I think she would have been happy if we all were eaten by a bear.  Still, she seemed satisfied to point us in the opposite direction of where she was going.

P.S. My daughter found two highlights to my film: the horse and Steve.
