Amorphophallus titanum flowering at UC Berkeley

I was able to visit the UC Berkeley Botanical Garden on June 21st and I saw their Amorphophallus titanum in flower, however I was too early and the flower hadnt opened yet.

Here is a link to the flowering, http://botanicalgarden.berkeley.edu/program/event_des/plant_hap/TrudyReturns.html

Enjoy the photos anyway...

Cool beans. How tall was it? The Huntington expects to have 3 more blooms over the next 2 years. This last one reached nearly 7 feet!

I wonder if it attracted the same Lady that was hovering around the flower last time I saw it. She was circling the flower taking photos and would not leave its side - even as I was trying to take photos of it myself. All she was missing was a set of wings.
