3 years in the life of a Nepenthes rajah

I just compiled some photos of various stages of one of my N. rajah growth and I thought you might like to see them.

Good heavens! That is one fantastic plant! Wow! Congratulations on a job well done. Jeremiah, you trully have the touch!

That raja looks great! But just too slow for me

. Life is short, and I can't wait around 6 years for a plant to mature. Maybe if I can get a 12" raja, it'll be mature in 3 years

. Someone need to create some hybrids with this species. Hybridized with an easy, fast grower that'll mantain the size and look of raja. That'd be awesome

!

As always, great photos Jeremiah. That plant sure has grown happily! I still don't understand what the fuss is about rajah being a difficult slow grower - each new leaf my plant puts out is at least 30% larger than the previous one, and its robustness makes it unstoppable.

Cheers

wow thats one healthy plant all 3 years of its growth. I am guessing that rajah has a growth comparison to truncata considering its slow growth.

Wow, Jeremiah I never get tired of your plants! You must have a HUGE green carnivorous thumb ;) You have the happiest looking plants ever. Keep up that great work
