This is the 2004 Pitcher Plants of Sarawak by Charles Clarke and Ch’ien Lee, published by Natural History Publications of Borneo, a small full-colour field guide (17 cm x 11.5 cm / 6.75” x 4.5”) to the stickier parts of the pestilential tropics, showcasing some very bulbous, obscene-looking...
This info came across the VCPS listserver & even though it comes across as blatant spam, anyone who has seen some of his other books & enjoys Nepenthes will cough up the bucks ... The email also had 21 beautiful color pics of Neps - however, I don't know how to share those pics w/o hosting each...

The good news is that my box of N. hurrelliana, aptera (rigidifolia), and longifolia arrived a few days ago from Malesiana. The bad news is that the DHL man signed for it himself and left it sitting outside, where it froze for three nights before I found it.
I have attempted to create a list of all the known and currently recognised species of Nepenthes. Of course this list is by no means complete or even exhaustive, but it does give a rough idea of the number of species known. Please let me know if I have missed any species out, or if you have...

Hi everybody,
Andy Hurrell being a very dear friend of mine, he has just told me Jebb and Cheeks have named a new species after Andy's last name. Actually, he discovered that species in Borneo a few years ago, but that's about all I know about that plant.
Does anybody have info on that new...
Hi everybody,
Andy Hurrell being a very dear friend of mine, he has just let me know that a "new" species (which he discovered in Borneo) was named after his last name by Jebb and Cheeks.
Does anybody have info on that plant, or where I can find info ?
Thanks again
Cheers,
OL
