still gotta get Talley Lightweights to get rid of the steel scope rings and mounts and shave a couple more ounces off...i love my Kimber Montana....once i get the new rings i should be down to about 6.5 pounds total for the rifle, 6x36 Leupold scope, aluminum scope rings and bases, 4 140 grain 260 Remington loads in the magazine and sling......the lil rifle my wife uses weights that new out of the box before i put on mounts and a scope and my rifle has a longer, heavier barrel......
