Yet another benefit of coffee

I came across this article today and thought it might be useful for some of you who have used, or are on the fence about using, coffee on your plants.

You know, if coffee is a plant, and we're giving it to another plant... That's what I call PLANT FOOD!

All bad puns aside, I don't grow any of the plants in the article, but it sure is interesting! Has anyone ever analyzed the compound(s) in coffee that is/are so beneficial to plants? Maybe some chemist could isolate them and make a super-high-power fertilizer.
