This is awsome! Thank you for hosting the giveaway!
As for the Ionasi 'red', I will put it in my highland setup along with some of my nepenthes.
The temperature where I live is usually similar to the natural habitat of heliamphora so they will do just fine outside. My greenhouse has a misting system that will keep the air humid. Lastly, I will have spagmoss on standby to pot it up in!

Wow, what an insane giveaway! I'm not exactly sure how you're wanting the entry to go, let you know which we would be interested in? Only pick one? I have quite a few N. madagascariensis that I'm growing from seed (and will be a giveaway!) and I think N. Trusmadiensis requires cooler temps than I could not provide. But I would absolutely love to have either of those Heliamphora (with priority to H. Sarrecenoides x Minor 'black')!
Thanks to @Werdna who gave me a tiny Heli and showed me the methods of growing them here in the desert without any crazy attempts at recreating a Tepuis type growing condition (that info is now on this forum and can be found here: Andrew's guide to growing Heliamphora in the desert ). Since then I've picked up a handful of different Heliamphora from him and others (including Wistuba). I grow them in a room which is climate controlled, not really to create any specific climate but rather to make sure the days don't get crazy hot (above 82f or so) and the nights don't go crazy cold (below 45) but mainly the AC schedule is adjusted through the year to make sure there is some type of temperature differential between night and day for the variety of plants that I grow in there.

Not too long ago, I took that Heli that I mentioned Andrew gave me which was then out of control

and break it up into a bunch of divisions (image below)

I'm excited to again have this heli looking like it should ;)

Here are all the divisions/cuttings of that plant in a tank for rooting/recovery (except the mother plant, it's with the other Helis)

20240914_123024.jpg

This was a large cutting I purchased and divided into 3, they're already well acclimated and such but are still in their tank (with the doors open) just waiting to be moved out (Which I'll do soon, since other Helis need to be dealt with too ;) )

20240914_122854.jpg

And here are my main plants in the room, some of which just recently came out of that first tank so just have a little more acclimating to do and others were already in this room. he mother plant of all the cuttings above is in this photo, front and center. In this photo you can see H. 'Godzilla' on the right which has gone crazy. I've cut back on feeding it since I got tired of having to move the shelf with every new pitcher lol But it needs to be divided so I plan to move a division out into the Nepenthes greenhouse to see how it does out there. It'll be nice to feed it like crazy and see what it will do!!

My other Heli tray

I have a couple of others in bags that arrived in bad shape. They're ready to come out but need to acclimate... Unfortunately I don't have any more room in that tank lol so they'll go in the second tank once I start working on that.

Front right is a couple established plants of H. minor "Burgundy Black" which I really need to divide out into their own pots. I hear it is a slow grower which proves true for me, and I constantly need to trim back the live sphagnum.

Thanks again for this absolutely incredible opportunity to this community! I'm going to upgrade your account to the thank you membership, it's the least I could do as a thanks from us all.

Oh, wow!!.
Interested in any of the helis, please. Thank you in advance for the opportunity.
I have a highland setup for a few neps, cephs and utrics, and I just "need" a helis, because there is plenty of room. 😁

I have room for one of your helis giveaway!!. 🤗

Do you grow your hamata and vilosa in ultra highland conditions? I've heard of people acclimating them closer to intermediate/HL and have done well.

65 at day and 50 at night is my highland setup for my Heliamphora and all highland nepenthes with humidity a minimum of 80% in the indoor grow tent. This is my first try for nepenthes Hamata or Villosa though I'm more willing to try a (Diabolica x Hamata) x Edwardsiana from wistuba for slightly more hybrid growth. I live in a cooler state so my house stays 65 degrees for 8 months of the year lol.

Also due to cooler indoor and outdoor temps I could easily drop the temps at night for a more significant temp drop but due to 65 degrees in the day I don't want to stretch my luck dropping below 45 degrees as some of the plants won't forgive me for that lol. I keep them on the way cooler side.

Diabolica!!!. 💗

AW Trusmadiensis is an awesome plant!
I have been growing Nepenthes for several years now, in the last 2 years I got serious about growing highland Nepenthes, I started out growing plants such as Hamata, Lowii, and Tenuis from there it has grown to include Edwardsiana, and Drosera Magnifica, and many more. I have several grow setups for various plants. Many of my plants are grown in a Growtent with different conditions depending on the plant and how it should be grown. Due to the location of where I live Highland has come incredibly easy to me, getting nighttime drops to 50 degrees has never been a big concern. I also have a wine chiller ink bird set up, I try and keep everything in a grow tent and only use the wine chiller set up when something isn't looking good as a quarantine setup or if I feel the plant requires more stability than the tents. I have been looking to get a Trusmadienses, I was going to buy one at a florae auction but decided to give this a shot first! feel free to reach out and ask any questions if you have any! I am making an effort to be more active on this forum but stay incredibly active on other social media platforms. I especially love in-person events, BACPS was awesome, I am planning to make a trip to PDXCPS either next month or the month after and hopefully to Phoenix in December. Anyway, I love the giveaway you are putting on, some cool plants, and the concept is really fun, making people share how they plan on growing the plant is not a supper common thing and it adds a unique flair to the giveaway.

Thanks for your time!
Thack

I am 2 years new to growing CP'S. I bought my first Nutans heli in January. Since then it has grown like a weed in my indoor greenhouse. It started flowering a couple of months ago. I started reading up on self pollination. I even bought a tuning fork but have yet to score any pollen but I am still trying. My setup is an indoor greenhouse. I keep my heli and the one nep I have on the second shelf, away from the high heat and direct light. I feed all my plants flightless fruitflies monthly. They stay in high humidity. It is for these reasons I believe I could take very good care of any of the heli's you are parting with. Thank you for the opportunity.

So since there hasn't been any more recent submissions on this thread and it's October next week I will announce the winners a couple days early.

Thack: Nepenthes Lowii x Macrophylla

Adnedarn: Heliamphora Sarrecenoides x Minor

Andy North: Heliamphora Ionasi

Bay area botanicals: Heliamphora Heterodoxa x Ionasi

Rocketgirl gets a free N. Hamata since there were only 5 participants with 4 prizes. Please keep in mind this will be there largest available size (8 to 12 cm, 3 to 4.7 inches) so I will assume it is more of a small or medium than XS.

Oh my, oh my!!!. Finally great news after the funky Helene!!.
Medium/small hamata, you will be welcome in FL!.
THANK YOU A LOT!.
