Hello everyone! I was active here back in 2009-2014 but had to part with my collection when I moved overseas in 2016. I'm now looking to get back into this great hobby but don't remember any of the sites, players, etc. What would anyone recommend for rebuilding my collection when I don't yet have plants to trade?

Welcome back to the hobby and TF! Are you looking for specific genera? I'd guess nepenthes just from your profile pic, but maybe you're thinking more broadly? There is of course flytrapshop.com run by Andrew - our great forum owner and curator!
Keep an eye out for giveaways here and on other forums. I think there are also a lot of Facebook groups - I haven't really jumped on that bandwagon, so can't recommend specific groups, but maybe someone else on TF has some tips.
The biannual NASC auction might be another good resource - if it's the same as in years' past, the spring one will be held here on Terraforums around May(ish). You could also try an 'ISO' listing (with a budget or range) on the 'Classified' thread here on TF. I recently did something similar and got some good tips on some plants I was looking for.

Thanks madrone! I forgot about Andrew's shop. I'll definitely look there and on the Facebook groups. What I've been horrified to find for the most part is people selling $300 Cephs and Helis and not so much the, hey, I can pull a leaf from a ping or something for you kind of stuff. Back a decade ago it seemed like there was must more of that kind of thing. I'm happy to spend some money but like the idea of the hobby people helping the hobby people vs the commercial side (inflation has definite been a thing I'm seeing). I'm hoping to find a place where I could find someone who would take $50-100 and do some cuttings and pullings to get me back in the game. I'll check out the Classified as well as keeping an eye out for the auction.
