Whats with this Halo thing

I'm not too sure what has propelled this particular FPS to the top - accessibility perhaps?

I think it's because it was the first well made FPS on the next generation console. And the game design. I love only being able to hold two weapons (at least in the first two) so you really have to plan ahead.

I really love the gravity hammer in the H3. It does get kind of annoying only being able to carry 2, but like you said makes it more interesting.

Heck, I'm still playing Battlefield 1942. Halo? We don't need no stinking Halo!!!!

I was at Costco today and they were selling Halo 3 for $49.99, roughly ten dollars cheaper than MSRP, so I went ahead and purchased a copy. I'm looking forward to giving it a go!

The real challenge will be finding time to play it :-(
