Being a newbie is hard so can anyone tell me what are good carnivous plants I should start with? I took cuttings off a nepenthes last month and today notice new growth? I am so happy first time I ever tried it and I was jumping and clapping my hands when I seen this tiny green leaf coming from the top!

Any venus flytrap or D. Capensis or d. spatulata fraiser island thoose two dews grow like weeds in.my collection and are verry forgiving.

Any venus flytrap...

The only problems with flytraps are that they need a lot of light and have to go dormant, but if you can provide those then you should be fine.

Also, this thread will explain things in more depth.
