What is that growing in your pot?

Hi Everyone,

Was visiting a friends house the other day and noticed his son had a little pot with a D. capensis growing in it.
But something else caught my eye that was also growing in there.

Been trying to identify it, but nothing concrete so far, any of you have an idea what it could be?

Those cup structures on the liverwort contain gemmae which allow the plant to reproduce aesexually. You'll have more popping up around there
