VFT varieties grown from seed

Hi All. I'm interested in growing the weird varieties of VFT such as "Kim Jong-un" or Schuppenstiel. I am curious on how the plants will look when grown from seed. Will they look similar to the parents or would they look more typical?

It will vary. You'll get plants that range from looking completely typical to a few that will be closer to their parents. VFTs do not breed true however, so none of the plants you create from seed could ever be called by their parent's name.

With those bizarre mutant cultivars, they tend to be a one-off mutation that will very rarely if ever pass that trait onto offspring. Even with more normal cultivars, as Grey Moss pointed out, VFTs do not breed true so you can't really expect specific traits when growing VFTs from seed and also can't use the cultivar parent's name for seed-grown plants.
