Vft has flower stalk, i think.

Ok guys i belive my biggest VFT has what looks to be a flower stalk starting to grow out of the middle of the plant, now since im not worried about getting seeds and i want my VFT to keep doing well should i go ahead and clip the flower stalk off? Im pretty sure its a flower stalk as the leaf stem looks diffrent then normal and it seems to have buds? No leaf or trap as always. Very tiny and just poped up so do i wait or cut it?

I would snip it, put it through dormancy, and wait until spring to allow a stalk to flower.

Thanks Jim, i niped it off and it deffinately wasnt no leaf with a trap so it must have been a flower stalk.
