Venus fly trap flower help

Hi I hope everyone is doing well my venus fly trap has been flowering for a little bit now although there is mixed emotions about flowering the venus fly trap I let mine flower I needed the seeds from it anyhow I have a quick question am I able to harvest the flowers individually once they are ready to be as some are ready and others aren't.

Hello! You mean harvest each pod individually? Sure, I don't see why not. Here is one of my flower stalks I still have not harvested (and so some seeds have fallen out). You can see each flower will turn into a pod (if it received successful pollination). To prevent.losing seeds harvest that whole pod. I usually do it once you can see seeds, but I slacked this year. (I'm doing it right now, I promise! 🤣🤪)20240921_072052.jpg

Yeah mate this is what I was worried about I have some ready and some which are still in flower if I left the ready pods I may lose some seeds so I thought if I carefully cut the bottom of the stem for each pod which is ready it shouldn't effect the ones which aren't ready just needed some clarification cheers for replying have a good day.

we both really know it's an old photo and they are still awaiting you to take the pod 🤣🤣
