OK, I am going on vacation soon to Atlanta,GA, and then to Orlando,FL. I was wondering if there are any interesting cp nurseries,growers,etc. in any of these areas.

Take a look at the CP FAQ. There's a list of botanical gardens with CPs, and I'm fairly certain there's a large one in Atlanta.
