Vac Pics - 56K warning!!!

elgecko

I've got a magic window!
I decided to show some pics of the vacation that I just got back from.

1.jpg

Looking out the window of the plane some time after take-off.

2.jpg

Playing with my GPS to see how high we were flying.

3.jpg

Cruising right along. When we were climbing after take-off I saw it was around 590 MPH.

4.jpg

Coming in for the landing.

5.jpg

Where we stayed.

6.jpg

Off to Animal Kingdom. This was my favorite park of them all.

The Tree of Life. It has 325 animals carved in it.

16.jpg

Off to Epcot.

17.jpg

I wonder who these strange people are.

18.jpg

This was one of the restaurants we ate at in Epcot called the Coral Reef. The one entire wall was a huge aquarium with fish, sharks, and this turtle that was wondering if he could get a bite to eat.

Wow! Those're some amazing shots! Looks like a BLAST!
I should show my dad the first couple of pictures- he'd be proud to know that there are other people out there who play with their GPS as much as he does.

He's starting to get me hooked, too!

It's Mickey and Minnie- silly!

Thanks for the comments.

Actually after the vacation I could have used a few more days vacation sitting around the house. We where on the go the whole time we were there.

I have to admit I thought animal kingdom was the worst of them. Epcot however was a very close second.

I am jaded, EPCOT was better and had more technology when it first opened. Animal Kingdom to me seem to cater completly to children with over the top dramatics. At least the magic kingdom kept something for both kids and adults to enjoy.

My wife and I have gone to to many zoos and seen to much done better at zoos that cost much less. I have heard others rant on how much they loved it but it just isn't for me. Universal Studios Islands of Adventure was much better.

I can see I am getting old now and quickly on my way to becoming a true curmudgeon.

hey I just went to Disney in March! being CP-obsessed, I managed to find 2 references to CPs within Disney (both in Epcot)...did you see 'em?
