I just bought this guy at Home Depot. Looks like he has a little S. purpurea blood in him.

Looks like S.x swaniana, which is purpurea x minor.

Fresh out of tissue culture too judging by the small bushy growth.

Yeah, it does look like the hood was trying to turn down to form a little mouth, but then the purpurea lid was like, "UPRIGHT! UPRIGHT!!!"
