I met with a professor at UNC-W today and they are planning a class on Sarr hybrids. They are going to try and trace the genitic link between sarrs. I think this will be a very good thing. The Professor asked me if I could get him some simple hybrids between S.flava, S.purpurea, S.rubra, S.minor and S.psittacina. He may also be interested in crosses between S.flava varites.
