Trying to escape, but just didn't make it.

NickHubbell

It’s a trap!
I was looking at my pots today and noticed something black on the underside of one of my vft traps. At first I thought it was a beetle that had escaped and crawled under the leaf. On closer inspection...

The trap is just over 1 inch. You can also see this was the beetle's second attempt at escape.

Cool picture. I had almost the same thing happen with a flava and a yellowjacket.

The things that gets us excited. we are so sick. lol

Woah. Talk about a drag! I can hear the poor beetle now!

"ha ha! I made it! I'm....almost....out...arrrrrrrrggghhh!"
