traps not closing

I have a green dragon that is being stubborn and wont close its traps at all. It is healthy and gets only purified water and lots of sun. any clue

Seriously though it could be a few things like the traps are old or too young or the temp could be too cold or that the hairs werent triggered.

You have to trigger two hairs in 20 seconds or less, that is the only it will close. OR as Dryflam said, the traps may be too young or too old. The traps are only supposed to close 3-4 times. They may not close because people have triggered the hairs to make it close too many times.
