Things That Make You Go Hmmmmm....

I just found this in my P. primuliflora pot:

I don't know how it got there since I sowed seeds outside in this:

and more in a tray in here:

....both of which were failures.

Likewise, I have D. burmannii languishing in this setup:

.... but a plant sprang up in here:

.... ne makez sense pas!

What's next.... a Drosphyllum in a Genlisea pot?!

Didn't the Mazda rotary engine go "hmmmmmm"?

Yup, that's B. liniflora.

Nature frequently finds a way!

And now that mystery burmanni wants to reproduce!

Talk about synchronicity - the two year old plant that must have been from a hitchhiker seed with some D. brevifolia that I got from you is just about ripened. And the evil spawn from earlier flowers (it has produced seed 3 times previously) are now flowering. This spreads as quickly as D. capensis.

I just killed the liniflora! I sprinkled freezed dried bloodworms on my butterworts and sundews and misted the leaves, as per instructions. The next day the plant reacted. What's with that?!

I've got two typical vft flower pullings that took, 'only' 4 months after it looked like it turned black... seems like the others say, like seeds, never give up :D nice find!
