Wow! That's pretty impressive. How large is that dragonfly?
I would move some of the leaves onto the main part of the body so the plant can get the most out of it.

The dragonfly was about 1.5" long. It's was pretty big compared to the size of the plants.

I actually let it go. I like dragonflies . The capensis had a good grip on it, it was even a bit difficult for me to get it off!

Good question Jim! Looks like a bit of both to me. They certainly look hungry!
