Anyone seen the preview of this movie?

It presupposes that one person's vote can change a tie in the US election system and the candidates are courting this main charachter's vote. Realistically this is a complete impossibility because the electoral college system. You don't suppose they run an brief statement of this fact before the movie do you?

I guess that's a bit of a buzz kill for a comedy movie!

It's possible even with the electoral college, but that vote would have to be in a specific state that was otherwise split 50/50.
