strawberry plant

hello everyone can i start off my strawberry plants now ready to put outside in march i was wondering if i can put it on a window sill in a warm bedroom

well so my main question is if i put this on a sunny window will it flower when its ready or will it flower straight away or is it a photo period thing

also if its a photo period thing can i start it now or not ?

Huh.....This time of year my strawberry plants are out in the back yard.....dormant.

yes i realise this but indoor can i start them off now ready for the start of summer 2011 ? is this possible

I suppose it probably is, but I'm not sure if the lack of dormancy will harm it in the long run or not....I don't know of anyone who has grown them a year without dormancy..
