Sterilizing used pots for CPs

What's the best method for cleaning out used, plastic pots? And by used I mean I am not exactly sure how long they have been sitting around and what was in them beforehand.

This summer I used some pots for other plants that my local garden center was going to recycle anyways. I cleaned with a bleach solution and rinsed A LOT before planting...but I wasn't sure whether bleach would be harmful to CPs specifically. Thanks!

That's what we did for orchid pots (concrete, clay, and plastic), soak in a bleach solution and rinsed well. As long as there is no bleach odor emanating from the pot should be fine
