Spanish moss and CP's?

Wasn't sure which forum to put it in since it's a mixture of a few, but at any rate, has anyone ever had a problem with spanish moss and CP's?

I don't mean as a potting mix nor even a topping really. I'm setting up a tank and have a big ol' bag of spanish moss, so I was thinking of perhaps making a false bottom of egg crate and covering it with the spanish moss.

I've put various Tillandsia on top of Nepenthes pots many a times, and never saw anything negative. So figuring that Spanish moss is Tillandsia usenoides (sp?), think there's any problems?

If it's alive, it shouldn't cause any problems. If it's dead, it might be a good source of food for fungi (bad!), especially in a warm and humid terrarium.

Make sure it has lots of light and that the "moss" won't cover itself too much.
I hang them in my greenhouse with the rest of the neps without any problems...
