I know that the soild is supposed to be peat moss and sand. But does the sand go at the bottom and the peat on the top or vice versa?

take a happy bucket, grab a happy handful of peat moss and a happy handful of sand (already rinsed) throw the happy handfuls to bucket, grab some happy water and let it smlingly jump into the bucket, after they make a race and the water wins, throw your plants in there, give them a life jacket, they might not know how to swim, then make sure they arent scared of sharks, after that repeat for every plant

Translation:  You mix the sand and peat moss together.  Then add some distilled or rain water till soil is wet but not runny.

Yea i heard u just had to mix it. does anybody know if irish peat is any good? thats all i can find in the UK

Irish moss peat is the stuff you want. dont use sedge peat.
